The text and photos are identical to those in the colour edition of the book, the only differences being that the pages are printed on a different machine and all the colour photos appear as grey-scale black and white. The cover is laminated and hard-wearing rather than cloth-bound with a dust-jacket. Kidlington aerodrome near Oxford, England, is the base of a new flying training school which will offer pilots the chance of being trained to fly the Spitfire. The aircraft being used is SM520, the Spitfire T.9 operated by Spitfire Display Limited. PPL-qualified pilots will be able to experience flying a DH Tiger Moth, followed by a Harvard, before progressing onto the Spitfire during the 2-day intensive course. More details can be found here:
